For investors & portfolio operators

Build on what your operators know.

The people running your portfolio companies know which processes cause delays and cost money. Studio brings experience from Fortune 500 environments and large-scale systems to help them build software around those problems, using AI and Swirls.

Discuss a portfolio company

Inside the portfolio company

Start with a result the team can measure.

  • Customer follow-up

Reduce missed follow-ups by keeping enquiries and next steps in a shared customer record.

  • Everyday admin

Reduce repeated data entry by connecting the tools staff use for the same job.

  • Getting paid

Shorten the handoff from a completed job to its invoice and payment reminders.

  • Business visibility

Spend less time assembling reports by bringing workload, capacity, and progress into one view.

Why Swirls Studio

Software tailored to each company.
A backend we already maintain.

We ask the staff responsible for the process to explain its rules and exceptions. They define the business outcome. Our engineers guide AI through the build, connect existing software, and test whether the application does what the team needs.

We own and develop Swirls, the backend for hyperpersonalized applications. User access, scheduled processes, and records of activity are already built, so each company needs less backend development. Companies keep separate data and access permissions in Swirls, with business rules tailored to their operations.

Each application’s interface is built and hosted separately from the Swirls backend. Studio can help with that implementation, hosting, training, and ongoing support under an agreed scope. Each company decides what its team wants to own and where it needs engineering help.

How the partnership works

A partner across the portfolio

Start with one company.
Build from there.

Choose one process with an operator who can judge the result. Agree a baseline, such as time spent preparing quotes or chasing missing information. Agree on an implementation budget, introduce the application, and review the result before taking on the next project.

Discuss what the team can do with the time recovered. As you expand, reuse integrations and patterns where they fit. Check the rules and responsibilities with each company’s operators before carrying a solution across the portfolio.
