Scope & costs
We build with Swirls, the backend we own and maintain. Capabilities such as user access and scheduled processes are already in place, which reduces the backend development needed for your application. We scope the customer-facing screens and their hosting separately, along with the design, integrations, and other services your project requires.
We test representative tasks with you to estimate model usage, hosting, and third-party costs. Once the app is running, we can compare those estimates with actual use. Volume, larger inputs, and retries can change the bill.
We agree what’s included and what’s billed separately, including model and third-party charges. Hosting, Swirls usage, and Studio services can share one agreement and invoice.
If you’re delivering for a client, you set your offer. Include your discovery, delivery, training, and support when you price it.
Responsibilities
You own the requirements, client relationship, and acceptance decisions. Explain what a good result looks like and which exceptions matter. Choose how involved you want to be in the implementation and maintenance.
We bring engineering judgment and take responsibility for the advice, implementation, training, or support in your agreement. We explain our recommendations and the evidence behind them. The agreement sets handoff and support expectations.
We own and maintain Swirls, the backend for hyperpersonalized applications. It runs the processes behind your app. The screens people use are built and hosted separately. Studio can help with that interface and client support under an agreed scope.
Before the first call
Tell us who uses the app and what you want to improve. A recent example of a missed handoff, a slow task, or a feature you need is enough to start. Bring whatever you’ve built so far.
If you’d like to assess the app first, run the free assessment in your coding session and bring the main findings. The report stays with you. We’ll agree what additional material we need and how to share it.
Assess your appIT & security review
We help document the system, its data flows, access rules, deployed settings, and tests. Record what still needs fixing, who will fix it, and how the team will check the result.
Your IT and security teams decide whether the app meets their requirements. If they require a penetration test, a specific certification, or an independent assessment, include that requirement during scoping.
